By accessing or using In The Book ("the Service"), operated by Apperrific Ltd. ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including coaches, administrators, and any other persons who access the Service.
In The Book is a sports attendance tracking platform that allows organisations, coaches, and administrators to record and manage attendance for sports teams and events. The Service is provided on a subscription basis and is intended for use by sports clubs, schools, and similar organisations.
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

The Service allows you to record attendance data for team members (such as players or athletes). As the organisation using the Service, you act as the data controller for this personal data. You are responsible for:
Apperrific Ltd. acts as a data processor on your behalf for member attendance data. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we handle personal data.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Apperrific Ltd. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service. By submitting data, you grant us a licence to process and store that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice of significant changes. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apperrific Ltd. disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apperrific Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy. Termination does not affect any rights or liabilities that have accrued.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
